Louis it was, who carved out his reputation with Ipswich in 1970, a season after they were reformed and went on to race in four World Finals and represent England in a whole host of major tournaments.
And while he managed to get on to the World Final rostrum at Wembley in 1975, many feel his finest hour came some months earlier at Coventry, when he won the most competitive British Final ever!
