Long Eaton - Defunct Issue #35

Our biggest ever production - a bumper 40 page issue of ‘The Pocket Size History of Defunct Speedway Tracks’ is now out and looks at the history of Long Eaton Speedway, from its first official meeting in 1950, through to the final year in 1997 - that’s 31 years of league racing!
We look back on the club's history and highlight the greats who rode for the club, diving deep in to their championship year of 1984, and take in more years through the eras 1951, 1963, 1967, 1969, 1979 (as Nottingham Outlaws), and finally 1997.
